How the Gita Sadhana website, the Gita Sadhana app and the Gita Sadhana plugins in ChatGPT and Claude use your information. Gita Sadhana is run by DIVVIB LIFESTYLE PRIVATE LIMITED (DharmikVibes). The DharmikVibes Privacy Policy also applies; this page adds what is special to Gita Sadhana.

What we collect
- On this website you need no account, and we ask for nothing about you.
- In the Gita Sadhana app, if you make an account: your email address, your name if you give it, and what you save, such as your reading progress, bookmarks and reminders.
- If you use the Ask feature in the app: the question you type.
- If you write to us: your email and what you tell us.
The app is free. We do not take payments in it.
ChatGPT and Claude plugins
The Gita Sadhana plugins only look up verses and their meanings. They never ask for your name, number, email or address, and we keep nothing tied to you.
What you type there is processed by OpenAI (for ChatGPT) or Anthropic (for Claude), under their own privacy policies, because you type it in their chat.
AI providers we use
When you use Ask in the app, your question is sent to an AI model to write the answer. The models we use are:
- Gemini, from Google (tried first)
- Claude, from Anthropic
- OpenAI models
Which one answers depends on which is available. Each has a daily spending limit. They use your question only to write the answer. Please do not share health, money or other private details there.
Other services that help us
Amazon Web Services (accounts, storage and hosting, in India; sign-in codes and emails through Amazon SES). Each uses your information only to do that job for us.
What we never do
- We never sell your information.
- We never use it to show you ads from others.
- We never send you messages you did not ask for.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information while your account is open. When you ask us to delete it, we delete it, except what the law asks us to keep.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask to see, correct or delete your information, withdraw your consent, and name someone to act for you. Write to hi@dharmikvibes.com with "Gita Sadhana" in the subject, from the email on your account.
Gita Sadhana is meant for adults. A child should use it with a parent.
